The Silend Origin Story

At the age of 22, Brittany was a single mom of two earning minimum wage and barely able to make ends meet. Fast forward four years, she obtained her BS in Psychology and started a career in corporate Supply Chain Management. The issue was that for the first year she was so far in debt that she was still living paycheck to paycheck and trying to play catch up. ​

Then she met Ms. Joann. It never failed that on her worst days, Joann would invite her to lunch and find someway to justify paying the bill. Brittany would get paid on Friday and tell Ms. Joann that lunch is on her. Sometimes she would accept but most times she would decline and tell Brittany to Pay it Forward.
